I typically add the root to green juice, slice it into curry dishes, and use the powder in salad dressings and teas. I also love adding turmeric to eggs scrambled in coconut oil. YUM.
Now, blending turmeric into smoothies is slightly tricky since the taste can be overpowering. I’ve found that mango is the perfect fruit to balance the sharp turmeric flavor. Using coconut water as a base works well with turmeric and will give your smoothies a delicious, tropical vibe.
